Our client based in Paddock Wood area is a forward thinking and expanding distribution and premium third-party logistics solution for ecommerce businesses.
They have asked us to assist in recruiting Bendi /Flexi Forklift Truck Drivers on a temporary to possible permanent basis. If you are interested in joining a fast-paced, highly motivated, tight-knit environment where there is never a dull day, this opportunity may be for you.
The hours of work:
- Monday to Friday 12:00pm to 22:00pm.
- Must be available working Saturday or Sunday 08:00am-18:00pm shift when required.
Salary:
- The starting hourly pay rate £12.10 per hour (equivalent annual salary £28,314).
- Overtime £18.15 per hour.
- Weekly pay until permanent contract secured.
Responsibilities:
- Bendi/Flexi Forklift trained.
- Experience in Inventory and Replenishment.
- Demonstrated ability to hit Replenishment Stock Moves & Accuracy KPIs
- Heavy Lifting.
- Efficiently handling inbound goods, outbound orders, and maintaining accurate inventory and goods within the warehouse.
- Conducting regular equipment checks and reporting any issues.
- Ensuring stock levels are optimized for efficient fulfilment.
- Collaborate with other team members to achieve performance targets.
- Ensuring that all health and safety procedures are followed.
Applicants will ideally have:
- Minimum 2 years of experience in a similar role.
- Bendi/Flexi Forklift 1-2 years’ experience.
- Proficiency in materials handling and operating a forklift.
- Experience working in a warehouse environment.
- Ability to lift heavy objects and perform physical tasks.
- Knowledge of shipping and receiving processes.
- Demonstrated ability to operate warehouse equipment safely and efficiently.
- Excellent attention to detail and ability to work accurately in a fast-paced & changing environment.
- Effective communication and collaboration skills.
