Our client based in Kent is a global leader and innovator in energy efficient temperature control technologies. They are looking to recruit a Service Manager to join their team.
This is a dynamic company with specialist divisions delivering large-scale projects to a wide spectrum of sectors, including: Commercial and Industrial Refrigeration, Commercial Air Conditioning, Fruit Ripening and Industrial Temperature Control.
Main Function of the Job:
You will be responsible for managing, motivating and providing technical support for the service team, maintaining existing clients and developing new business. Provide the highest level of customer service with a sales-minded attitude while developing lasting customer relationships.
Main Duties and Responsibilities:
- Effectively manages team members/staff to ensure team objectives and Department Budgets are being achieved.
- Offers exemplary customer service, including maintaining customer relationships and ensuring repeat customers by upselling products and services and taking care of any customer concerns or complaints quickly and professionally.
- Review customers’ requests for service to ascertain cause for service request and type of malfunction.
- Responsible for working with service technicians in the field and dealing with complaints from customers and technicians.
- Develop and maintain methods and systems for tracking costs of warranty, minimizing costs and maximizing customer satisfaction.
- Sourcing new contracts, site surveys, quotations
- Departmental meetings.
- Ensure that all service revenue grows.
- Complies with all applicable health and safety regulations, policies and established work practices.
- Ensures appropriate employee safety training and compliance is completed.
- Interviewing, hiring and training employees.
- Any other duties as requested by Management.
