Things to celebrate this March
There is lots to look forward to this Month. The winter is almost over and Spring is certainly on it’s way. March is set to be a very busy month so we have put together a list of things to look forward to.
Warmer weather
As we head towards Spring the weather is warming up, therefore, you can start to leave the hats, gloves and scarves at home.
Lighter mornings & evenings
Mornings start to get brighter in March making it much easier to pull yourself out of bed! Evenings will start to get lighter. Lighter evenings make your day longer, giving you more time to enjoy your evening and complete the needed tasks.
Shrove Tuesday… Pancake day
The 5th March marks pancake day so enjoy all the pancakes you like! Will you be complimenting your pancakes with maple syrup, chocolate, sugar, lemon… the choices are endless!
St Patrick’s Day
St. Patrick’s Day observes the death of St. Patrick, the patron saint of Ireland. The holiday has evolved into a celebration of Irish culture with parades, special foods, music, dancing, drinking and a whole lot of green.
Spring is on it’s way!
20th March is the official start of Spring. There are so many things to look forward to in spring. Flowers are growing, birds tweeting and new life blossoms.
Mothers day
Mothering Sunday is the day to honour the mother of your family. Mothers Day is celebrated all over the world. Not all countries share the same date in March as ours. Have this as your reminder to grab your mother a lovely card and a bunch of flowers.
