Of course its all for a good cause as many are home to rescue cats that are needing a new home. Animals are also proven to be therapeutic to us humans and therefore give us health benefits. Here are some of the top venues to visit around the UK…
Lady Dinah’s Cat Emporium in London
The first to open in London, Lady Dinah’s is located in Shoreditch just by Brick Lane. Here you can enjoy afternoon tea in the company of 13 adopted cats. The cafe is open 6 days a week but closed every Wednesday. Walk ins are accepted if the cafe hasn’t reached capacity so it is recommended that you pre-book.
Kitty Cafe in Nottingham and Leeds
Soon to be opening in Birmingham, you can currently visit Kitty Cafe in Nottingham and Leeds. The Kitty Cafe takes in cats from all different backgrounds before they are re-homed.
Maison de Moggy in Edinburgh
Located just of the Grassmarket, at Maison de Moggy you can expect to see breeds such as Sphynx cats, Maine Coons and Bengals.
Mog on the Tyne in Newcastle
At the Mog on Tyne, you can get involved with all sorts of feline themed activities such as bingo, colouring and knitting.
