Job Description

Office Junior

Our client an independent practice of Chartered Surveyors, Estate Agents and Property Managers who specialise in commercial and residential property are looking to recruit an Administration Assistant to join their Maidstone team.

Duties/Responsibilities

  • Answer phones (most important part of the job) strong customer service skills required
  • Updating property databases
  • Opening and distributing the post
  • Taking post to post box/office/recorded delivery etc
  • Office duties, for e.g. from tea making/buying milk etc
  • Filing/help organise/scanning /dead filing
  • Setting up new files
  • Organising keys/keyboard
  • Getting keys cut
  • Booking appointments for surveyors/agents/managers
  • Assisting with general admin jobs

There is the potential for progression once experience has been achieved

Hours of work are Monday to Friday 9am to 5.30pm (includes an hour unpaid lunch)

Salary: circa £17,000 to £17,500

Parking is available on site
