Job Description
Our client, a successful international plastic moulding manufacturer based in Marden, is looking to recruit Production Operatives commence work in their rapidly expanding advanced new award-winning medical moulding facility.
The client is looking for successful applicants to commence training asap on a temporary to permanent basis.
No experience within the plastic mould industry is required as full training will be given.
You will be carrying out various tasks which can include:
- Finishing and packing parts produced from the injection moulding machines
- Conducting visual inspection,
- Completing quality and in process documentation.
- Some tasks have additional assembly, testing or printing operations.
The hours of work will be a shift pattern rotating as follows:
- Week 1, early shift 06:45 to 14:45 Monday to Friday.
- Week 2, night shift 22:45 to 06:45 Monday to Friday.
- Week 3, late shift 14:45 to 22:45 Monday to Friday, then rotate back to early shift.
Applicant requirements:
- Looking for a permanent role.
- Prepared to rotate shift weekly as above.
- Able to stand for long periods.
- Able to read and understand work instructions.
- Good basic maths (using calculator)
- Confident completing production paperwork.
- Able to perform quality checks using simple gauges, weight checks and basic measuring equipment.
- Willing to work in a cleanroom environment (requirement to wear beard snood, shoe covers, hair net, overalls etc.).
The hourly pay rate will be £11.40 per hour, equivalent to the starting permanent salary of £23,712.
The client site is less than 10 minutes’ walk from Marden station and there is plenty of on-site parking.
