Our client, a rapidly expanding technology company based in Maidstone are looking to recruit a Developer to join their team.

The position is being offered on a temporary to permanent basis and the salary is £20,000 to £40,000 depending on experience.

With a strong emphasis on training and personal development, you will be working closely with their team of experienced developers in an agile and fast-growth environment.

Building on your existing fundamentals and initial in-house training, you will get exposure to lots of different technologies and systems, enabling you to work across the business supporting their teams with all things technical.

Our client is a provider of social media services to global MLM companies. They provide a full-service social media scheduling platform as well as provide content creation services and customer support. Their team of dedicated and enthusiastic individuals work well individually and as part of a team across multiple skill sets.

Role Description

You will be part of a team that will be working with frontend and backend developers to improve the service for our clients.

You will primarily be working with the PHP framework Symfony at first which will form part of your initial training. This will involve maintaining the API and adding new features.

As your training develops, you will start to be involved in working with the frontend developers which is using the code base Vue.JS

Technical Skills / Must Haves:

· Early career experience or a degree/qualification in Computer Science, IT or equivalent.

· Knowledge of PHP, MySQL and Object-Orientated Programming.

· An understanding of HTML/CSS/JS.

· Ability to work both independently and as part of a team.

· The strong desire to learn & develop.

Nice to Have:

· Knowledge of QA practices and unit testing.

· Experience of using a framework.

· Experience of using git.

· Exposure to Agile practices.
