You have an annual leave day left to take that you didn’t know about, so you can have a random day off. Now, what to do?…
A duvet day always sounds like a good idea. Most weekends the guilt of wasting a whole day in bed won’t allow you to do it, but how good does a ‘netflix and chill’ day sound? However, if you don’t want to waste your day then at least turn the alarm clock off and have a lie-in!
A house-work day! Yes, it sounds boring but doing these mundane tasks on a random day off means your weekend is free from chores. You can finally get your life ‘organised’ just like the helpful articles keep suggesting.
You could be one of those people who ‘lunches’? It’s a chance to catch up with friends and not have to watch the clock. Even if nobody is available then have a solo lunch and watch the world go by.
This is the perfect chance to do some DIY. Anything that you keep putting off until you ‘have time’, now’s your chance! Pick up that paint-brush, dust off those tools. Or maybe you could hire someone and supervise?
When was the last time you read a book? Got totally immersed in a story and lost track of time? This could be the perfect opportunity to do that, especially if it’s rainy weather.
You may want to attempt all the above items in one day, if you have bundles of energy go for it! Whatever you choose to do on your random day off just make sure you have some time to relax and put your feet up.
